We are also just people that lead pretty ordinary lives. Korey is the owner, operator, installer, service guy, trainer of new employees, sales rep, and pretty much anything else that needs to be done. He’s a hard worker (and quite often covered in mud) with a very high standard for quality and he’s willing to take on almost any challenge. Live Green Irrigation has become what it is today because of his hard work and dedication to family, community, customers, and the business.
Korey, a single father of two young boys, wanted to build a business that would support himself and his kids. He’s off to a great start! He founded Live Green Irrigation in 2011 after moving back to Ontario following two years of teaching in Alberta.
Along the way he met me, Erin, and we have worked at building Live Green Irrigation to this point. I wear a few different hats at the moment…My full time job is with Environment Canada as an Ice Specialist, and I provide as much support to Live Green Irrigation as I can ranging from website updates and blogs to documents and contracts. My role is not nearly as fun as Korey’s but it is a little cleaner!
