That's right...this is Home and Garden Show weekend. Come check us out in Forest or Bayfield this weekend to pick up your show discount cards.

Forest - The Shores Recreation Centre - April 28 (Saturday)
Bayfield - Bayfield Arena and Community Centre - April 27 to 29 (Friday to Sunday)

I am very pleased to discover that more and more people are finding ways to be self sufficient in terms of growing their own food. For years we have been dependent on what can easily be brought from the shelves of supermarkets. I guess this is the reason why all these GMO were able to penetrate the market unnoticed. We don't know anymore where our food is coming from and how it grew. It's really better if all of us would have a community garden which will grow enough crops for everyone.

I keep looking twice whenever I see discount offers. It really won't hurt to learn even just a little Math. Sometimes the buy one take one offers cost twice as much so you didn't really get the second one for free. That's false advertising. We really need to be very careful before making purchases. We need to value our hard earned money and not fall for unfair promotions. I am sure there are stores that give good offers too. All you need to do is just double check.
